“Baragouin of the Knight” is
not a real story. It is a spoof on some of the fanfics you might see on the
Internet. On the same note, the “Unforselfconsciousness” series doesn’t exist,
either. It is a fictitious series that I created to poke fun at those stories
that always seem to be a part of an unknown, endless series. In my reading
explorations in the world on fanfic, I sometimes stumbled upon such stories
where you had to read a load of disclaimer, a dozen prequels, and get to know a
ton of new characters, to be able to understand what was going on. It always
amused me how most of these prequels, sequels and even the series itself all
had strange, exotic, weird-sounding names, just like the characters. That’s why
I picked the names for my fake stories and even added some Mary-Sue in there to
make it more interesting. After all, I like her so much I couldn’t get enough
of her :) There are a number of other things this story ridicules but I leave
them to you. Just don’t take anything I say here seriously, or personally. I
wrote this to have some fun, and hope you have it too.
